Welcome to Shrewsbury International School India.

Shrewsbury International School India will be a co-educational boarding school situated on a 150-acre campus in Bhopal, India's cleanest capital. The school is tailored for pupils between the ages of 11 and 18, accommodating a maximum of 800 pupils. Following the English National Curriculum, the school will prepare pupils for the Cambridge International IGCSE Examinations in Years 9 and 10. Successful completion of these examinations will enable pupils to pursue A Level courses in Years 12 and 13.

Shrewsbury India will uphold the same ethos, virtues, and goals as its parent campus in the UK, aiming to deliver a holistic education that addresses the needs of each individual pupil. It will cultivate a thriving and inclusive boarding school community, fostering the academic, social, and emotional development of pupils.

The India campus aims to blend the spiritual values and reverence for learning found in Indian society with the best practices of British Independent Schools, both within and beyond the classroom. In doing so, it seeks to create a distinctive educational experience that leverages the strengths of both cultures.

At Shrewsbury India, there will be a strong emphasis on individual responsibility, personal appearance, independent learning, and respect for both people and property. Pupils will be expected to adhere strictly to codes of behaviour, discipline, and self-discipline integral to fostering a confident and socially aware school community. Our pupils will be actively encouraged to engage in deep thinking, develop independent thought, and demonstrate consideration for others.
