At Shrewsbury International School India, we are proud to provide a wide array of scholarships and bursaries that empower pupils to pursue their academic dreams. All Rounder Scholarships
Candidates will be assessed in four equally-weighted areas: two specialist areas selected from Sport, Music, Drama and either Art or DT; an interview with a senior member of School staff; and a C4 Aptitude test along with a short written exercise.

Music Scholarships
Candidates are required to perform on two instruments, or on one instrument and voice. Candidates should normally prepare two contrasting performances. Music Scholars are expected to play a full part in the musical life of the School during their time at Shrewsbury International School India and will benefit from world-class teaching and facilities.

Drama Scholarships
Awards will be made based on the presentation of two short, contrasting monologues, and an interview. Candidates will be asked to provide information on their previous drama experience and the School will also seek a reference from the candidate's current school drama teacher. Drama Scholars will be expected to play a full part in the dramatic life of the School during their time at Shrewsbury International School India

Awards are made on the basis of a personal portfolio, a practical examination in drawing an object or group of objects, and an interview.

Sports Scholarships
Candidates will spend a day at School, during which they will be evaluated in their chosen sports alongside fitness and physical literacy screening. Sports Scholars are expected to play a full part in the sporting life of the School during their time at Shrewsbury International School India

Academics Scholarships
Candidates for these awards sit the Scholarship Examination in the month of May of their year of entry. They spend two days at the School, and awards are bestowed on the basis of written papers and interviews.

Note
- Pupils must apply for a scholarships using the Scholarship Application form by April 2025.
- Scholarships continue for the duration of a student's time at the School, subject to them maintaining high standards. The Scholarship Committee will adjudicate on all scholarship matters
- The final decision of any awarding scholarship will be made by the Scholarship Committee
